The Jetfloat philosophy
The policy at Jetfloat has been a simple one: Produce the Highest Quality product using the High Density Polyethylene Mariex 50100 resin, and sell it at the best possible price. A simple policy for a simple product. The Jetfloat system has been used in many different applications and has surpassed all expectations for durability.
Best described as large building blocks, Jetfloats can be put together in any shape or size by almost anyone. No special skills or expertise is required. Because of this, the end user can save on assembly and installation costs that are common in the docking market.
At Jetfloat the quality of product, competitive pricing and customer satisfaction have always set us apart from the competition.
Simple assembly
Jetfloats have four connecting lugs. Each lug is distinctly marked with one, two, three, or four dots, ensuring the right assembly sequence.
Single Jetfloats slide together to form one section of a floating dock. Simply arrange the units so that the centre logo of each unit faces the same direction. This automatically places the dots in a counter-clock-wise sequence.
A connecting pin is inserted into the holes of the over-lapping lugs and locked into place. A 45° turn of the pin with the Jetfloat Assembly Key will lock or unlock the Jetfloats. (The dock can not be disassembled without the key.)
The simplicity of assembly or disassembly permits the owner to alter the layout of a Jetfloat dock at any time, quickly and conveniently.
We will supply the building blocks for your imagination!
Frequently asked questions
Can you walk on them?
Yes! Quite comfortably. When properly installed, walking on a Jetfloat dock feels as secure as other floating docks. In fact, because of Jetfloat’s unique modular design, the dock has an inherent flexiblility and each step is individually absorbed. This actually creates the feeling of a rigid surface.
Each individual unit has a load capacity of 220 pounds (100 kg)! That means an average of 4 unite x 4 unit (6 ½ x 6 ½ feet or 2 metre x 2 metre) raft will hold up to 3520 pounds (1600 kg)!
What's inside?
Air, but don’t worry they can’t deflate. They are blow molded and made of a high density polyethylene (HDPE). This means that they are rigid structures with a wall thickness of 5/16” (8mm) that don’t have any seams. The material itself floats, which means the units will never sink. Not only that, the material will never break apart or leach into the water. Their unique design makes them incredibly buoyant, durable, and impact resistant. That’s why we are able to offer you a 10 year warranty with any purchase. In fact, their life span far exceeds 10 years, we estimate a 40 year lifespan and after 30 years in business our original installations are still in use today.

For twenty years I’ve singlehandedly installed and removed my Jetfloat dock in Georgian Bay. It remains one of my best investments.” -Joyce Watson, Cottage Owner
